Taylor Shilts

Taylor Shilts is a founding and principal attorney of SCR Law, APLC, a California workers’ compensation defense firm dedicated to providing employers, insurers, and third-party administrators with strategic and cost-effective representation.

For nearly a decade, Taylor has practiced exclusively in the field of workers’ compensation defense. He has successfully litigated hundreds of complex, high-exposure claims, earning a reputation for simplifying difficult issues, developing practical strategies, and achieving cost-effective resolutions. Taylor is equally recognized for his trial readiness, bringing in the skill and determination necessary to protect his clients’ interests in even the most challenging disputes.

Taylor earned dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and Political Science from the University of Colorado, Boulder, graduating in 2011. He went on to attend Thomas Jefferson School of Law, where he graduated with honors.

When he is not advocating for clients, Taylor enjoys traveling with his family, attending and watching sports, and community involvement.
